We were thrilled to have purchased this very dashingly handsome colt by Discreet Cat. His excellent conformation, athletic looks, and overall size caught our eye immediately upon the first time we viewed him and we are pleased to have him in our stable; he is being targeted for the lucrative Indiana bred restricted races.
His sire, Discreet Cat, was an impressive Grade I Stakes Winner of six races in nine starts and earned almost $1.7 million. He is best known for his win in the Grade I Cigar Mile at Aqueduct when he equaled the track record in an eye-popping time of 1:32.2. His first crop hit the track in 2011 and already has numerous winners.
Hoosier Hero is out of the Devil His Due dam named Devilish Amour. She is unraced but has three foals that have raced and two of them have already won, including M V P Grand who has two wins already in 2011. The second dam has produced two stakes winners including The Real Vaslav who is Grade II Stakes placed and has earnings of almost $230,000 and Secret Edge who is a Stakes Winner of over $150,000.
This good looking colt hails from the family of Stakes runners; Reba Is Tops who won multiple stakes and earned over $460,000 and from the Stakes placed Real Paranoid who earned almost $400,000.
