The Dream Team Racing Stable’s management team members have been owners themselves and fully understand the costs, opportunities, risks and potential pitfalls associated with thoroughbred ownership. The relationships that have been developed through their associations contribute daily to the implementation of the stable’s philosophy. 

DTRS’ staff is fully committed to the success of its partners while ensuring the highest possible care and stewardship of its equine athletes. 

The stable is headed by President James Culver, Ph. D., Statistical Analysis, and MBA. Dr. Culver is an avid life-long thoroughbred fan who became an owner about ten years ago and has owned about fifty horses – some that have been racing in partnerships and some that he is breeding and raising in Ocala, Florida. As racing manager, he oversees the stable’s operations, farm relationships and horse purchases and has led the stable’s growth and successes.

The client relations as well as sales and marketing efforts are directed by the stable's Vice President Kostas Hatzikoutelis. Like Dr. Culver, Mr. Hatzikoutelis has been a life-long enthusiast of the sport and owner of more than five dozen thoroughbreds in syndication over the past decade.  His love for horse racing was fueled by his father Steve, and the time they spent at Penn National race course in the ‘70s and '80s. Kostas has since earned a Master’s in Business Management and valuable experiences with many syndication groups prior to settling with Dream Team Racing and the “Team of Excellence.”

Daily commitment to the horses, partners and stable ensures continued success for DTRS with a hands-on approach to managing each relationship; no question is too small nor insignificant in the stable's pursuit to providing the highest possible value proposition.
